Safety policy.
At Linkster, the safety and well-being of our community is a top priority. Our platform is designed to help golfers connect, organize rounds, and participate in the golf community in a respectful and trustworthy environment. We are committed to providing tools, policies, and moderation practices that help keep Linkster safe for all users.
Community Expectations
All Linkster users are expected to treat others with respect both on and off the course. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, or any form of abusive conduct will not be tolerated on the platform.
Users should communicate honestly, behave responsibly when organizing or attending events, and respect the rules and traditions of the golf community.
Account Integrity
Users must provide accurate information when creating an account and may not impersonate another person, organization, or business. Accounts that appear to be fraudulent, misleading, or used for spam may be removed from the platform.
Linkster reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or threaten the safety of the community.
Reporting and Blocking
Linkster provides tools that allow users to report or block other users directly within the app. If a user experiences harassment, suspicious activity, or inappropriate behavior, they are encouraged to report it through the platform.
Our team reviews reports and may take actions including warnings, account restrictions, or permanent removal from the platform depending on the severity of the violation.
Marketplace Safety
Linkster includes a marketplace that allows users to buy and sell golf equipment and apparel. While Linkster provides secure payment processing and reporting tools, users are responsible for ensuring their listings and transactions are honest and accurate.
Fraudulent listings, counterfeit goods, or attempts to scam other users are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the platform.
Event and In-Person Safety
Linkster helps golfers organize rounds, events, and meetups, but users should always exercise good judgment when meeting others in person.
We recommend meeting at established golf courses or public venues and communicating clearly about expectations for the round or event. If a user feels uncomfortable or unsafe at any time, they should leave the situation and report the incident through the app.
Enforcement
Linkster may investigate reports of policy violations and take appropriate action when necessary. This may include removing content, restricting features, suspending accounts, or permanently banning users from the platform.
Our goal is to maintain a respectful and welcoming community where golfers can connect and enjoy the game.
